    Built in 1662, this was the most formidable fort in the region. Now home to a maritime museum.

    Giddy House
    The former artillery storehouse for Fort Charles earned its name after being tilted during the earthquake of 1907. Locals say the slant makes visitors giddy, thus the name.

    Port Royal
    Once known as the wickedest city in Christendom, Port Royal was devastated in 1692 when an earthquake sent much of the town to the depths of the sea. Visitors can find many treasures here, including Fort Charles and a monument to Jamaica's first coconut tree.
